Vincent van Gogh commented about the Dutch Masters and how they must have used "27 shades of Black" in their paintings. Come dressed in black and be prepared to discover how history, culture, art and food can celebrate the discovery of the iconic Houtman Abrolhos Islands 400 years ago by Frederick de Houtman and Jacob Dedel. While the St. Francis Xavier Cathedral will be awash with the underwater world of the Houtman Abrolhos Islands. Put a warm coat on and brave the night to see our heritage at a grand scale.

She will take participants on a remarkable journey as they create a sea monster which represents the fear of the unknown and the depths of human kindness.
